I was curious and wanted

"I was curious and wanted to "taste history". I held back for months because of the price but finally splurged on it with birthday money. I had hoped I would love it and buy more and other teas in the future, But I'm afraid to say . . . honestly it's the worst tea I have ever tasted. The tin is nice but overall, considering the high price and surprisingly foul taste. . . . Its left a bad taste in more ways than one. I would definitely say it was a purchase I regret. If I'm ever in Boston I'll be sure to dump it in the harbor. If you would like a friendly suggestion. . . Maybe you could offer a single sample teabag so that newbie customers could try it before investing quite so much. Blessings and best wishes"

Delightful, smoky flavor

"This tea has such a pleasant smoky smell and taste! When I first opened it and smelled, it brought back happy memories of campfires with my family. The smoky smell is stronger than the flavor. It has a less pungent, smoky flavor that becomes just a hint when milk and sweetener is added. It's become my favorite hot tea!"

The Colonial Bohea is one

"The Colonial Bohea is one of my favorite teas. The smoky aroma leads to a brisk flavorful tea, a perfect start to my day. I always enjoy the packaging for Oliver Pluff teas. The tins are little snapshots of history to go along with the teas. This special anniversary tin is another well thought-out example."
