Limited Edition 250th Anniversary of the Battles of Lexington & Concord Gunpowder Teabags Commemorative Tin

Description: The Battles of Lexington and Concord, fought on April 19, 1775, marked the beginning of the American Revolutionary War and earned the nickname "the shot heard 'round the world." British troops marched from Boston to Concord to seize colonial weapons and arrest rebel leaders but were met by armed minutemen on the Lexington Green. An unknown shot triggered a skirmish. The ensuing battles at Lexington and Concord resulted in a British retreat. The event boosted colonial morale, solidified colonial unity and inspired the formation of the Continental Army. Before 1775, the British East India Company imported various grades of Gunpowder Tea to the colonies. The tea is tightly rolled, then lightly roasted, giving it a dense, dark appearance that is similar to actual gunpowder.

Ingredients: Green tea leaves

Size/ Type: 20 pyramid style teabags sealed in black signature tea tin
