 Martha Washington's Cacao Shell Quartet

Martha Washington enjoyed steeping the shells of roasted cocoa nuts from the cacao tree for the interesting flavor and health benefits. 

Description: Aroma of toast before brewing. Steeping in hot water unleashes a tonic of chocolate. The brew yields a full-bodied, slightly bitter infusion with strong notes of chocolate, and light flavors of melon.  

Caffeine: Cacao shell tea is caffeine-free, but it does contain other natural stimulants.  

Ingredients: Roasted Cacao shells, orange peel, lemon peel, peppermint leaves, cinnamon

Size/Type: Four 1.5 oz Tins- (1) Cacao shell, (1) cacao citrus, (1) cacao mint, (1) cacao cinnamon

Shelf Life: 2 Years

NOTE:  During initial processing and roasting, Cacao Shells may be exposed to  Nuts, Soy, and Dairy.
