Oliver's Reserve Shan Cha, Wild Mountain Tea
Shan Cha, or Wild Mountain Tea
Description: This tea comes from the tea plants indigenous to the mountains of Taiwan. This particular tea from the Lin Family Estate, is made from leaves picked from wild tea trees found randomly in the surrounding mountains of Yu-chi Township. Shan Cha is a gentle "easy drinking" black tea with a very distinctive and unique taste. The taster will be greeted with a pleasant aroma of baked oats with buttered sweetness and a discreet floral note of wild rose will charm the nose. The tea liquor is very smooth with a light, refreshing tartness.
Brewing Instructions:
- For an 8 oz cup: Brew 1 tsp (3 grams) in 205-215°F of filtered water for 3 minutes.
