Limited-Edition Paul Revere’s Ride Green Dragon Coffee Blend Commemorative Tin
Limited-Edition 'Paul Revere's Ride' Green Dragon Blend Commemorative Coffee Tin
As part of our Road to the Revolution series, this limited-edition tin design depicts Paul Revere’s Ride, one of the most enduring moments in the story of America’s path to independence. This commemorative release is part of our broader observance of the 250th anniversary era of the American Revolution.
On April 18, 1775, Paul Revere set out to warn that British troops were marching on Lexington and Concord, helping spread the alarm that would ignite the Revolution. He was joined that night by William Dawes, Samuel Prescott, and other riders, remembered together as the Midnight Riders, who helped carry the warning across the countryside.
Revere was part of a network of patriots connected to Boston’s Green Dragon Tavern, a trusted gathering place of the Sons of Liberty and the Boston Committee of Correspondence. Over time, it came to be remembered as the “Headquarters of the Revolution.”
Named for that famed Boston tavern, our Green Dragon coffee is an East Indies blend inspired by the coffeehouses and meeting places where ideas were exchanged and history began to turn. This commemorative edition pairs that story with a rich, dark roast crafted for a full-bodied cup.
Tasting Notes: Dark roast, full body, low acidity, with notes of baker’s chocolate and molasses and a cream-like mouthfeel.
Ingredients: East Indies ground coffee blend
Size/Type: 5 ounces ground coffee in commemorative signature coffee tin
Shelf Life: 1 year
