It’s official. Oliver Pluff’s Tea Shop is now open for business!
After two nights of friends, family, and local guests previewing and
celebrating the newly renovated John Street space, the shop officially
opened Thursday, May 29 amidst the bustle of Spoleto 2025.
Many shoppers expressed delight that they could now find all their favorites
in one downtown location, which is located at 49 John Street near the main
King Street thoroughfare, and also conveniently near two parking garages,
which is truly a blessing in the Downtown Historic District.
The shop features several products unique to the Tea Shop, such as
JasMint with a lovely locally inspired label, and high-end reserve teas are
also available by the pound. These are weighed and packaged right in the
store.
A wide selection of tea, both loose and in tea bags - plus coffee and a
variety of beverage mixes are available for gift boxes as well. Many
preselected combinations are on the shelves ready-to-go or you can design
your own and talented staff can wrap it for your gifting needs.
In addition to the consumables, a curated selection of tea pots, tea sets,
canisters, mugs, and supplies round out the gifting options. Add these to
any of the coffees or teas and any recipient will know they are special.
Walking into the space you will instantly feel immersed in the essence of
the traditional Oliver Pluff Colonial teas while also experiencing this fresh
exciting Charleston shopping experience. It is the best of both worlds.
